Compact Waste Considerations

Interstate Waste Services helps industrial customers sort through the many variables involved in purchasing waste compaction equipment:

  • Is the Feeding Opening large enough to accommodate the largest items?
  • Is the volume of recyclable materials large enough to warrant removing them from the waste stream? If yes, how?
  • Is the installation safe? Does it comply with comply recommended ANSI standards?
  • Is adequate power available?
  • Is the compactor located for easiest loading and dumping height?
  • Is an Ozone Odor Control System necessary to solve odor or pest control problems?
  • Does, or can, the waste flow to one central point?
  • Is there space for the compaction system and maneuvering room for collection trucks?
