Mark Harlacker, the Vice President of Environmental Management, has worked in the Solid Waste Industry his entire 23 year career. He came to Interstate Waste Services through the merger with North East Waste Services in 2006. Mr. Harlacker has worked in Mid-Atlantic and Northeast United States, predominantly in the Landfill and Transfer arena. Mark’s responsibilities include the permitting, capital, construction, and compliance of all company assets. Mr. Harlacker attributes much of his success to his ability to surround himself with quality people from within the waste industry.

Mark is an active volunteer with the local School District and enjoys golfing and long walks.
